Hello! This is my first post on my new (and hopefully the last) blog. I’ve had different websites and “brands” over the years. If you’re a longtime follower then you remember my original blog which was full of opinions I had no business sharing. My goal is to keep this website and blog active and relatively stable.

You know, there’s something almost magical about launching this blog today, of all days. You see, I have a special place in my heart for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s not just the green beer (Guinness is gross by the way), shamrock shakes, or the parade that gets me; it’s a bit more personal. Recently, I discovered through my cousin April (shoutout to April, the family historian) that some of my ancestors on my mom’s side were farmers in Ireland who fled during the potato famine. It’s a story of resilience and hope that resonates deeply with me, and it’s a part of my heritage that I’m only beginning to explore.

So, why start a blog? In a digital era where there’s a social platform for everything under the sun, I found myself yearning for a hub. A space that’s unequivocally mine, where I can share, connect, and perhaps even inspire. My interests are as varied as the colors of the marshmallows in a box of Lucky Charms—they include spreading motivational vibes on TikTok, experimenting with new recipes, weight lifting, traveling the U.S. and soon the globe, exploring the latest iPhone apps and productivity tools, and tackling home improvement projects one room at a time

But that’s not all. Photography has always been a passion of mine, a way to capture the world through my lens, and this blog will be a gallery of my adventures, big and small. Writing, too, has been a constant companion. It’s a form of expression that allows me to explore thoughts and ideas in a depth that 60-second videos or fleeting social posts just can’t match. And while my husband is the most patient audience for my myriad of topics, there’s only so much that one person can endure.

So here we are, at the beginning of what I hope will be a wonderful journey together. Whether you’re here for the motivational content, the travel tales, the culinary experiments, the fitness tips, the tech talk, the home improvement stories, or just to see the world through my photographs, I’m glad you’re here.

I hope you’ll stick around, engage, and enjoy what’s to come. And, because it’s that time of the year and because it’s woven into the fabric of who I am: Go Celtics!
